Cognixia has been a great place to increase my tech skills and learn more about how things work in the tech industry. My instructors have been knowledgeable and helpful, and for the most part the content is thorough and digestible. I would have loved to have more time to go over some of the more complex content, but all around this has been a great experience.
I am currently enrolled in the full stack java developer program at Cognixia. This program is a great starting point for those who are looking to start their career in programming. The director of the program, Rich Bowers and his team are excellent in helping new arrivals build their computer and personal skills. The instructors that are teaching the course are highly skilled professionals with many experiences. If you are a recent graduate looking for work, the jump program is a great place to jump your career.
The Jump program really helped me get my foot in the door and made me rethink how I should approach how I learn and how to learn efficiently. I met a lot of great people in the program and felt much more prepared to start my career. Each section of the program builds on top of previously learned material so you see how the entire Full Stack development process goes and how certain technologies work with one another. I am confident in my skills and would recommend the program for anyone not just looking to improve their skills, but obtain relevant skills needed in the industry today.
I started the JUMP Program in January 2020 and I graduated from the class end of February 2020. The training was absolutely great and the teacher was great as well. I was in an environment where the director and staff always made us feel comfortable and like we were worth something. We were treated as if people believed in us! Overall, the curriculum was fast, steady, and filled with information. We never went a day without learning something new and I appreciate that. We had been set up for success since day one!
